The client faced several key challenges:
- Valuable business data was scattered across a third-party legacy ERP system and flat files, affecting business efficiency.
- Each of their plants had independent setups, preventing a consolidated source of truth and hampering operations.
- Data management and modeling were done using SQL scripting, limiting usability for non-technical users.
- The growing volume of data made manual processing increasingly time-consuming.
- The finance department needed live data access to better analyze product margins and plant profitability.
